Your consultation: At this visit we’ll talk about what you want to change about your smile, the goals you have, and how many veneers are needed. We’ll also review financing options and give you answers to help you decide if veneers are right for you.
The preparation: Once you’re ready to get started on treatment, we’ll have you back for this second visit to slightly reduce a thin layer of enamel on the front of your teeth. When fully prepped, we’ll take an impression which is sent to our lab (where your veneers are hand-crafted.) Some local anesthetic will be needed to avoid any potential discomfort. In the meantime, Dr. Mechev may want to fit you with temporary veneers to reduce sensitivity until your permanent ones are ready.
Final placement: About two weeks later, your custom veneers will be ready to deliver. We’ll remove your temporary veneers and then adhere the porcelain ones with a special bonding agent. No numbing is needed! As soon as you look in the mirror, you’ll see a dramatically new smile reflecting back at you.
